Ajwa dates for Ramadan and gifting
Much of the Ajwa sold internationally is grown outside Madinah and only packed under the name. Ours is sourced directly from Madinah's date groves. Ajwa is deep brown-black with soft flesh and a mild sweetness, and ours has no added sugar or preservatives, so it keeps best in a cool, dry place or the fridge. Read more in What are Ajwa dates?
What makes Sidr honey different
Sidr honey comes from bees feeding on the blossom of wild Sidr (Ziziphus) trees, which flower only briefly each year in remote terrain. Genuine Sidr is thick and dark amber, with a rich, slightly caramel aroma. Ours is raw and unfiltered, with no heat treatment and nothing added. Why has my raw honey crystallized?
Crystallization is natural in raw honey and does not affect quality. Stand the closed jar in warm water to soften it again; avoid microwaving or boiling it.
